Picking up the Fundraising Items

Today, Sportsboy came home with fundraising items from Great School. What's interesting about this is that I didn't ask any of my friends or colleagues to order from fundraiser because I feel this will come later once Sportsboy shows an interests and understands fully what is going on.

Mom friends and I were talking about how later everything will "catch" up to us, meaning eventually my friends and colleagues will be asked to order items for school; eventually, birthday parties will be held at local establishments instead of homes or parks; and eventually brand name clothing may be sought. Point is make life easier for you the mom or caregiver.

What I realize as a mom of a school age child (boy do I sound old), that as your child gets older they need you more than ever. I don't mean for eating purposes, but you are on constantly teaching them about the world and pray that they will always be on the right track.

So, back to fundraising items, who did order from Sportsboy? Well, Hardworking Hubby and I, and my siblings. Next year may be different...
